The script, Doctopus, for Google Apps is a huge time saver for teachers. Before Doctopus, teachers were stuck creating a template and sharing the file with the class. The students would then have to create a copy and share the file back. These steps were not only tedious, but often created mixups along the way.
Doctopus allows teachers to create a temple and share it using the script inside of a spreadsheet containing their roster. The script will then create new fields in the spreadsheet that allow for grading, comments, and even a direct link to the shared file (the huge time saver). The script is a bit difficult to explain, so just watch the tutorial below:
