At AppsEducator, we understand teachers because all of us have been in the classroom. Our method of integrating instructional technology into daily lessons is a blend of hands-on experience coupled with proven methodologies.
Given our backgrounds, we recognize the challenge of preparing students for an increasingly complex and cognitively demanding world, so we leverage our experiences to provide professional development to teachers who are dedicated to creating innovative learning opportunities for their students.

How We Got Started
The origins of AppsEducator trace back to 2008 when Kurt Allen began researching ways to automate repetitive tasks (such as grading exams or quizzes), and presented solutions during a faculty meeting to colleagues. Kurt later began working on initiatives to allow students the ability to access course information from any device 24-7. After several years of informally teaching faculty and staff how to utilize technology in the classroom, Kurt secured a positon as a Technology Staff Developer providing Professional Development opportunities to train teachers, administrators, and support staff in effective technology integration.
The rest is history in the making. We LEARN by implementing new technology in the classroom and gaining real-world hands-on experience. We then SHARE this information with others who are interested in hearing about our experiences and what works best for us in the classroom. Finally, we COLLABORATE with like-minded professionals who have the goal of leveraging new technologies to support student learning.
