Robotics - Level 2: LEGO Mindstorms EV3

Course Description
(Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer and will share robotics equipment.)
Equipped with the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Base Set and Software, your student will learn teamwork while building and programming robots to overcome challenges throughout the week. They'll use sensors and the microcontroller to truly customize their creation—engineering and programming robots from day one.

What Will Students Take Home?
Campers in these robotics design camps will go home with video footage of the week's robotics challenges so they can recap their robot's performance.

Students Will Learn to:
  • Use the EV3 software and discover visual programming
  • Build MINDSTORMS robots that use motors

Skill Level | Is This Course Appropriate for Your Student?
This course requires the ability to work in teams as well as desire to learn and have fun! Our curriculum is customized for intermediate to advanced learners ages 10-13. You’ll learn in small clusters of 12 students maximum per instructor so you can discover the art of game design at your pace.
